Following an internal vote at Cannock Chase District Council, Councillor Steve Thornley has been elected as the new leader. The decision was confirmed during a meeting at the Civic Centre. Cllr Thornley said his priorities will include supporting local business recovery, protecting green spaces, and improving housing standards across the district.
